Left Ventricular Non-Compaction Cardiomyopathy: A Case Report and Literature Review

نویسندگان

چکیده

Left Ventricular Non-Compaction Cardiomyopathy (LVNC) is a rare myocardial disorder characterized by abnormal tissue formation in which the left ventricular wall appears to be trabecular with prominent intertrabecular recesses. The diagnosis of LVNC predominantly reliant on cardiac imaging, namely thoracic echocardiography, however, MRI indicated conditions echocardiography inconclusive. Diagnostic criteria for both and differ, general principle comparison thickness non-compacted compacted tissue. management nearly identical that Heart Failure reduced Ejection Fraction (HFrEF), anticoagulation an additional measure thrombogenic nature Here, we discuss case current data its management.

Right Ventricular Non-Compaction Cardiomyopathy in Children: Brief Review Literature

Right ventricular non-compaction cardiomyopathy (RVNC) is a genetic heterogeneous cardiomyopathy. Despite the increasing number of RVNC cases, the classification and natural history of this disorder are not completely clear. Also, because the pathogenic non-compaction cannot be easily differentiated from normal trabeculations, it is usually hard to accurately measure the prevalence of RV ...

Subendocardial perfusion deficits due to left ventricular non-compaction cardiomyopathy: a case report and literature review

Left ventricular non-compaction (LVNC) is a rare disease which is characterized by a two-layered myocardium with excessive trabeculation of the left ventricle. It can occur isolated or in association with other disorders, including congenital heart disease and musculoskeletal disorder. We herein report the case of a 61-year-old woman who presented with recurrent shortness of breath and chest di...

Left ventricular noncompaction cardiomyopathy: a case report and literature review.

Left ventricular noncompaction cardiomyopathy (LVNC) is a relatively rare congenital disorder prominently characterized by prominent trabeculations and intertrabecular recesses that communicate with the ventricular cavity rather than the coronary circulation. LVNC can occur in isolation or coexist with other cardiac and/or systemic anomalies, in especial neuromuscular disorders. The clinical pr...

Isolated left ventricular non-compaction cardiomyopathy associated with ventricular preexcitation: a case report.

Isolated left ventricular non-compaction (ILVNC) is one of the most misclassified cardiomyopathies. It is caused by failure of normal embryonic development of the myocardium from loosely arranged muscle fibers to the mature compacted form of myocardium, but it seems that etiology is not exclusively congenital. Diagnosis of ILVNC is mostly missed because of lack of awareness and knowledge. The r...
